With a very
special thank you and 100% appreciation for
hosting us, Thank You AZ Blue took our "blue
bags of smiles" up to Mohave Powersports.
At MPS, we were welcomed with plenty of
volunteers, cold drinks, and a huge space to
fill over 500 bags to delivery across Mohave
County.
We had a smaller bagging event on Thursday, June
9th where we filled bags for Kingman, Hualapai
Tribal, and Lake Havasu City,
and our delivery drivers were ready to go on a
LONG road trip to deliver to these departments.
Thank you to Betty Jo and Melissa who found out
the "hills really have eyes" all the way down a
dirt road in Peach Springs, AZ;
and to Karen, Ahleeya, and Charley for giving
lots of hugs to our Lake Havasu officers.
With several of us driving up on Friday and
Saturday from the Phoenix area, we were not sure
what to expect at Mohave Powersports.
However, the kindness and the hard working
volunteers that turned out, really helped us to
complete our bagging and all of our remaining
deliveries completely on time! We were warmly
welcomed as we visited Bullhead City, DPS
District #1, and especially when we visited
Mohave County
Sheriff's Office where we stumbled upon one of
our officers being taped for an upcoming episode
of the COPS TV Show!
