Annual Honor Walk
March 19, 2022
On Saturday, March
19, members of Thank You AZ Blue got together to
walk a mile in remembrance of Phoenix Police
Officer George Cortez, Jr.
Officer Cortez was murdered in the line of duty
on July 27, 2007. Mile Marker #32 at the corner
of Encanto and 83rd marks the spot where Officer
Cortez lost his life.
It was definitely our privilege and honor to
remember Officer Cortez during our walk.
