What a whirlwind!
We filled 1253 bags for the Main HQ, the Crime
Lab, and the Family Advocate Unit.
Volunteers and generous donations helped to
complete this task, and we arrived at
downtown Phoenix HQ. There were plenty of
volunteers unloading the bags and many smiles to
go around, especially when Fox News arrived to
take photos and give us some exposure.
As an added bonus, Chief Jeri Williams came
outside, talked to everyone, and helped with
unloading and carrying the bags. She also gave
all of us the opportunity to take a lot of
pictures.
To say a couple of our group members were "star
struck" was an understatement.
